Each of these pictures i made it photoshop and Sketchbook pro, I will be using some of them in my final animation.

These last two pictures are done by experimenting with Photoshop brushes.

The final drawing was one of my best drawings in Photoshop of my horse character so far.

DREAM SCAPES
EXT house night
As the day draws to a close, stars begin to shine like diamonds and the moon gives an aura of power with it's shine.
INT house night
Lisa goes towards her room hoping for a peaceful sleep as she gets changed for the night she crawls comfortably into her bed under the duvet and gets herself comfortable.
Int bedroom night
As Lisa falls into a deep sleep she leaves Midgard and travels to the Astral plains. It is a world well known to people as the land of nod, But everyone's plain is different from one other.

Lisa's Dream realm.
As I landed back in the familiar part of my dream realm I looked around to see how much my imagination had expanded over time, it was full of idea's and a vast collection of memories, I had created over the years from my interaction and exposure to the world.
As I looked out towards the horizon I saw a huge portal at the very end of the rock steps, waiting for me in the world threshold was my guardian friend Asmundr.
Ext world threshold
ASMUNDR
"Ah welcome again to Astral Plane young one, do you wish to explore further?"
LISA
"Hey Asmundr, how are you keeping? I hoped to come here to be free even though it is temporary."
ASMUNDR
"I am as well as can be expected, It has been keeping your spirit blocked again hasn't it?"
LISA
"Yes it has i'm sorry to keep bothering you with this, but I feel safe here with you"
ASMUNDR
" It is alright my friend, you know i will always welcome you no matter what"
Lisa gives Asmundr a hug, and he returns it as well as a horse can. He then looks at her and then smiles.
ASMUNDR
"Come young one,let us go into the threshold."
Lisa smiled and nodded then they both headed towards the great hall where the gateways were located.
Lisa gasped and Asmundr smiled, it truly had been a longtime since she had been there.
LISA
"Wow, it has changed this much?"
ASMUNDR
"My dear the more experiences you had, the more your plane expanded, with both good and bad."
LISA
"The darkness hasn't expanded beyond this plane has it?"
ASMUNDR
"No it has not it is still locked behind that gate."
Int Lisa's astral plane.
As they entered the threshold there were three gates in temple like design, each with their own decorations. One gate was white and had a decoration of silver plates with blue pearls set into them it had dragons carved into the stone, along with a symbol glowing in blue light at the very top. Lisa looked at the inscription it read "The gate of happiness, in here lies all that has brought you joy throughout your existence."
Opposite the gate of happiness the was a green gate with gold coloured features it had pink pearls set into the gold plates and it also had a purple light at the very top it " the gate of Sorrows, in here lies all that has brought you pain throughout your existence"
The final gate had both gold and silver decorations it had white pearls with the ying yang symbol carved into them each one had a green stone and red stone set into the opposite chi shape. "the gate of balance, only once you are whole can you go through"
LISA
"Come asmundr let's explore the gate worlds together"
ASMUNDR
" Very well Lisa let's go"
INT. WORLD KERNAL
As Lisa gets closer to the middle the gate of sorrow starts to glow, Lisa and Asmundr look at each other, they both look at all the gates, they start to move more towards the middle the pearls on the gate of sorrows start to glow.

inspiration

 each of these images are from kingdom hearts concept art but only from the first game , I chose these particular images to help with the visualization for the story, because in this particular level end of the world to me it looks like a dream world.( below in game render)

As for the demon in the sorrow gate world it was inspired by the devil from fantasia. He is one of the main bosses in the level.

This picture is from the inside of the mountain, the artwork is visually enticing and the colour scheme works well for what they were trying create.

This particular picture was another inspiration for the waking stations in the world kernel.

this was inspiration for the dream gates.

 These next set of pictures are taken from the legend of spyro series. These pictures are from the white isle.

The dragon temple from the first 2 games of spyro along with soul reaver and crash bandicoot are what inspired my gate designs.
